The historic run for the Antelope Valley College women’s tennis team ended after one singles player and two doubles teams were eliminated in the second round of the Southern California Regional Championships, Saturday afternoon at Cypress College.
After closing out the regular season with a 6-3 win over Mt. San Antonio College, AVC women's tennis has moved on to compete in the Western State Conference Championships at Ventura College.
This season, the Marauders have played several tight matches. The matchup with Rio Hondo was no exception, with the Marauders prevailing 5-4.
Against LA Mission, the Marauders fought hard but fell to the visiting Eagles 3-6.
Marauder Women's Tennis defeated Santa Monica College 5-4 in their conference opener.
