Coach Lear reunites with head coach Russell Gordon after playing together at AVC back in 1993. He returns to AVC after coaching the Defensive Backs and helping the college secure its last Bowl game victory.

Throughout his career, Coach Lear has worked at four different high schools in the Antelope Valley and is recognized as the winningest coach in Eastside High School history, as well as Highland High School history. He has achieved numerous accolades, including CIF champion, state regional champion, and California state finalist while coaching at Highland High School.

Coach Lear is married to his wife, Jennifer, and they have three children: Ethan, Alexia, and Bryson.
