Bio

Keyonna Grandy joined AVC as an assistant coach in 2024, bringing a wealth of experience as a coach. Her passion for volleyball, which began at the age of ten, has been a driving force throughout her life and career.

At Quartz Hill High School, Keyonna was a standout athlete and four-year varsity player. She played a role in securing three Golden League championships and, in 2018, she helped in leading the team to its first-ever CIF Title—a historic milestone for the volleyball program.

Continuing her athletic journey, Keyonna began her collegiate volleyball career at the University of Mount Olive before transferring to Pennsylvania Western University-California in 2020, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. Despite a career-ending injury Keyonna’s passion for the game remained undiminished. She has since dedicated herself to coaching, using her extensive knowledge and experience to help shape and inspire the next generation of athletes.
