Bio

Cole Vargas began his first season as an assistant coach with AVC in 2024. He grew up immersed in the game, watching his parents coach and learning the ins and outs of the sport from a young age. Cole started playing baseball at the age of six and has continued to play and coach throughout his life.

Cole was a standout player at Quartz Hill High School, where he was a four-year varsity starter. He played a crucial role in securing three Golden League championships for the team (His junior year was cut short due to COVID-19). When he wasn't pitching, Cole played centerfield, showcasing his skill and versatility on the field. 

With his extensive background in baseball, Cole brings a wealth of knowledge and energy to the Marauder softball program. He is eager to share his love of the game with the team and help lead them to success. As assistant coach, Cole will work closely with the outfielders to develop their skills and strategies, ensuring they are ready to compete at the highest level.

The Marauder softball program is thrilled to welcome Cole to the team and looks forward to seeing the impact he will have on the program. With his passion and expertise, Cole is sure to be a valuable asset to the Marauders both on and off the field.
