Bio

Byron Devers joined Antelope Valley College as the Sports Information Director in 2019.

Byron’s professional career includes a background in television production, where he worked for Warner Bros. Studios, Fox Studios, and several Academy Award shows with ABC. He also spent over a decade as the Vice President of Marketing for Big Fish Audio, the world’s largest distributor of music sample libraries. Before moving into the Athletics Department full time, Devers spent time as a Marketing Specialist with Antelope Valley College, where he wrote marketing content and handled social media responsibilities.

He currently manages all content for the Marauder Athletics website and social media. He launched the first Digital Media Guide for the Marauders and he manages all CCCAA statistical reporting as well as the Marauder Athletics Live Stream broadcasts.

A California native, Byron holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications from Oral Roberts University, where he co-founded, co-produced, and wrote for the university’s first weekly television sports news show. He resides in Palmdale, CA, with his wife of 21 years and his two sons.
