AVC Women's Volleyball fell 3-1 to Glendale College on Tuesday. The Marauders fell behind early but rallied late to win the first set 28-26. With momentum and the crowd behind them, AVC went up in set two but couldn't hold on, losing 25-19.
Despite 16 kills from team leader Julia Mueller, the Marauders never regained momentum, dropping sets three 25-14 and four 25-15. Muller also provided 16 digs on the night. Kylee Eubanks-Hemme had 6 kills, 3 aces, and a team-high 18 digs, while Nicole Fletes was busy as usual, with 32 assists, 14 digs, 4 kills, and 1 block.
Maia Washington recorded 14 digs, while Sabre Jensen and Alicia Doty had 2 kills and 2 digs each.
Antelope Valley is now 0-2 in conference and 3-6 overall. They will face College of the Canyons at home on Friday at 6:00 pm.
