GLENDORA - Kaeley Avendano led the Marauder women's volleyball team with 10 kills and 17 digs, but it was not enough as Citrus College downed AVC in three sets, 25-15, 25-13, 25-12, Friday evening at Citrus College.
The Marauders (1-7) have lost seven in a row since opening the season with an easy victory against Cerro Coso College.
Taylor Williams led AVC with 17 assists and Elizabeth Perez finished with seven digs for the Marauders.
AVC plays at home on Wednesday at 6pm against Allan Hancock College.
