VALENCIA - Tiffany Matchett led the Marauder women's volleyball team with 10 kills, but that was the lone bright spot as the No. 12 ranked team in the state College of the Canyons scored an easy victory over the Marauders, 25-12, 25-13, 25-17, Friday evening at College of the Canyons.
"We've definitely seemed to have lost something in our communication. Just our basic serving and passing game. We started off really hot winning back to back to back after our first home game," Matchett said. "But now we have dug ourselves into an 0-3 record for conference which of course isn't fun to have. We have been working so hard for this to come and we just couldn't grasp it."
Bella Bradford had six assists and three kills while Asia DeVera chipped in with eight assists for AVC (4-9, 0-3). Matchett now has 169 kills this season.
