Antelope Valley, CA - AVC Women's Golf placed 4th at the WSC #4 as they hosted at the Antelope Valley Country Club on Monday. The Marauders were led by Scarleth Pleitez and Makayla Dorman who both shot 96. Chloe Riviere and Melody Garcia came in third and fourth for the team. AVC's team score was 431, which was just two strokes from 3rd place Citrus.
"I'm proud of how the girls battled despite not playing their best today. Throughout the course of the season, we will go through good performances and ones in which we could have played better, this is all apart of the process towards making long term improvements." said coach Patrick Londono.
The Marauders are currently in 3rd place in the WSC standings with Dorman and Pleitez sitting in the Top 10 in the individual standings. They will play in Bakersfield on October 9th at Rio Bravo Golf Course.
