VICTORVILLE - The Marauder women's basketball team kept its playoff hopes alive following an easy 67-28 victory over Victor Valley, Saturday afternoon.
Shantanel Bivens led the Marauders with 21 points and 13 rebounds. She also added three blocks, three assists and two steals. Deja Smith and Fiona Ferry each added 15 points to help pace AVC.
In order to make the playoffs, the Marauders need some help, but it's not out of the realm of possibility. A likely scenario is AVC must win its final two games, while it must hope the LA Valley falters in its final two.
AVC held the Rams in single digits in the final three quarters, including outscoring Victor Valley 15-2 in the fourth quarter.
