LANCASTER - After a disappointing loss at LA Valley on Wednesday, a game in which the Marauder women's basketball team knew it could win, AVC took out its frustrations on Victor Valley College with a convincing 71-32 victory Saturday at Marauder Gymnasium.
Shantanel Bivens led AVC with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Deja Smith and Aniyah Terry scored 14 and 12 points respectively.
AVC's defense held the Rams to 14 percent shooting in the first hour and 13 in the third. Victor Valley only shot 21 percent for the game. Each player on the AVC roster scored.
