VISALIA - The Marauder women's basketball could not hold a halftime lead and lost to Pasadena City, 63-58, Saturday night at the College of the Sequoias Tournament.
Deja Smith led the Marauders with 25 points on 7-of-19 shooting and added six 3-pointers. Shantanel Bivens contributed with her seventh double-double of the season, including fifth in a row. She finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds, right on her season average.
The Marauders led 26-22 at halftime but was outscored 41-32 in the final two quarters.
AVC defeated the Lancers52-46 earlier this season on Nov. 4 at the Bakersfield Tournament.
