GLENDORA - The Marauder women's basketball team suffered its second most lopsided loss of the season, 74-54, Wednesday evening against Citrus College.
AVC did have three players score in double figures including Shekinah Broadway (14 points), Malaysia Broome (13 points) and Shantanel Bivens (12 points).
The Marauders only trailed 18-15 after the first quarter, but Citrus kept AVC at arm's length outscoring the Marauders by five, seven and five points respectively.
It was the second loss by AVC against Citrus, the other coming on Jan. 6 when Citrus defeated the Marauders 50-45 at Marauder Gymnasium.
AVC shot only 3-of-14 from 3-point range and has struggled all season from behind the arc shooting only 21 percent.
