MARAUDERS EXTEND STREAK TO 17 WITH 11-0 WIN OVER BARSTOW

AVC Softball topped Barstow 11-0 pushing their streak to 17 straight wins.
The Marauders scored four runs in the first inning off a 3-RBI homer from Briana Garrett and an RBI triple from Maritza Arroyo and never looked back.
AVC added to the lead when shortstop Isabelle Gomez hit a deep shot to left center field for her first home run of the season. Gomez finished 1-for-2 with 2 RBIs and is batting .318 on the season.
Garrett finished 3-for-3 with 4 RBIs while Syann Winbush and Alyssa Tami added addition firepower. Winbush had two hits with an RBI and Tami was 1-for-2 with an RBI. Garrett also had 11 strikeouts in the win.
AVC is now 27-7 on the season (11-0 in Conf.) and will take on Fullerton College at home on Friday, April 12th at 12:00 pm.
