LANCASTER - It was a see-saw match that went back and forth, but in the end the Marauder men's volleyball team fell short to Santiago Canyon College in four sets, losing 25-22, 28-26, 22-25, 26-24, Wednesday night at Marauder Gymnasium.
AVC (1-7) did get a career-high in kills from both Caleb Holfield and Devon Carr. Holifield finished the match with 15 kills, while Carr added 14.
Timothy Porter was solid for the Marauders finishing with 15 kills and Jonathan Atianzar also had a career-high with 53 assists.
