FULLERTON - Some team had to win its inaugural match in men's volleyball.
Unfortunately, for the Marauders it wasn't them.
The Marauder men's volleyball team opened its first-ever season against another school doing the same, losing in three competitive sets to Fullerton College, 25-18, 25-20, 25-20, Friday in Fullerton.
The Marauders (0-1) were led by Devon Carr's seven kills. Timothy Porter and Justin Humphrey each added five kills and Jordan Vasconselos had 22 assists.
Fullerton's (1-0) Manny Andrade led the match with 10 kills and eight digs. Teammate Kyle Young finished up with eight kills and Dale Irvin had 28 assists.
