COVERT PLEASED WITH MEN'S TRACK RESULTS

With that being said, Covert said he was happy with his team's results.
"I thought we did a pretty good job today," he said. "A number of kids had personal bests. I think we're headed in the right direction. The marks will continue to get better."
The Marauders were led by Cedric Spivey who finished first in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.86, edging out Cuyamaca College's Zachary Lewis who crossed the line in 15.88. Robert Moore was third in 16.47.
Samuel Aguirre was second in the 3000 steeplechase with a time of 10:30.57 behind Cuesta College's Cody Griffith (10:22.71).
