BASEBALL EVENS SERIES AT 1-1 WITH COMEBACK WIN OVER LA VALLEY
AVC Baseball won game two of their three-game conference series against LA Valley at home on Thursday.

AVC Baseball won game two of their three-game conference series against LA Valley at home on Thursday. AVC came from behind to record the 5-3 win.
The Marauders took the early lead with a Keon Moseni home run in the 1st inning. The solo shot to right field was his second of the year. Moseni leads AVC in hits on the season with 56 and also has a team-high .455 batting average.
The Monarchs took a 2-1 lead in the 3rd inning and added another run in the 7th. Down 3-1, AVC bounced back in the bottom of the 7th, scoring four runs. The rally was started with an RBI double from Jason Zhang, followed by Jack Taylor's RBI single to score Zhang and tie the game at 3-3. Aidan Jbara then brought in the winning run with a 2-RBI single. Jbara finished 2-for-4 with 2 RBI.
Starter Matthew Toledo went seven innings with three strikeouts. Samuel Maudsley closed it out with two strikeouts in two innings of relief.
Game three of the series against the Monarchs is on Saturday with a 1:00 pm start at AVC.
