Three more AVC Baseball standouts will continue their careers as Freddie Garcia (Kansas Wesleyan University), Carlos Martinez-Mora (Wayland Baptist University), and Travis Bowe (Arizona Christian) have all committed.
Three more AVC Baseball standouts will continue their careers as Freddie Garcia (Kansas Wesleyan University), Carlos Martinez-Mora (Wayland Baptist University), and Travis Bowe (Arizona Christian) have all committed.
Sophomore Freddie Garcia played one season at AVC and finished with 33 hits, 9 RBI, and 12 stolen bases. The infielder from Desert Christian High School will play for the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes who compete in the NAIA's Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference. The Coyotes finished 25-24 last season.
Catcher/DH Carlos Martinez-Mora joins Wayland Baptist Pioneers after two seasons with the Marauders. The Las Vegas native had 19 hits and 11 RBI this past season. The Pioneers went 24-21 last season and compete in the NAIA Sooner Athletic Conference in Plainview Texas.
Travis Bowe will be playing for the Arizona Christian Firestorm after 23 appearances over two seasons with the Marauders. The 6'4 pitcher from El Dorado High School in Nevada finished with 19 strikeouts in 34 innings. The Firestorm ended 39-21 last season losing to Westmont in the NAIA Tournament.
