WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL TOPS CERRO COSO
Marauder Women's Volleyball picked up their first win of the season with a 3-1 victory over the Cerro Coso Coyotes at home on Wednesday.

Marauder Women's Volleyball picked up their first win of the season with a 3-1 victory over the Cerro Coso Coyotes at home on Wednesday. AVC took the first two sets, 25-12 and 25-14. The Coyotes bounced back to take the third set 25-14, but the Marauders closed it out in the fourth set 25-18.
Sophomore Julia Mueller led AVC with 19 kills and 22 digs. Nicole Fletes had a busy match with 43 assists, 9 digs, 3 kills, and 4 aces. Freshman Kylee Eubanks-Hemme finished with 10 kills and 15 digs, while Alicia Doty added 4 kills. Maia Washington had a game-high 6 aces to go along with 6 digs.
The Marauders (1-1) are on the road at Victor Valley before returning home to face Cal Lutheran University JV on Tuesday, Sept. 5, at 6:00 pm.
