CERVANTES AND CRAMPTON HOMER AS MARAUDERS TAKE CARE OF WOLVERINES 8-0

Antelope Valley College Softball got back on track with an 8-0 win over San Bernardino College at home on Tuesday. After a scoreless first two innings, Savannah Cervantes put the Marauders on the board with a 2-RBI blast to center field. Cervantes finished 2-for-2 on the day and leads AVC in RBI with 10 and in home runs with 3 on the season. 

In the 5th inning, Cadence Crampton recorded her second home run of the season with a 3-RBI shot. Crampton finished with 4 RBI on the day. Emily Centeno went 2-for-3 and scored three times, while Annalise Wagner (2B), Alanna Hernandez (2B), and Haeven Chavira recorded hits. Haeven and Jayda Williams each had an RBI. 

Wagner handled most of the work in the circle with 5 strikeouts in just over three innings of work. Emmeliz Sera (2 strikeouts) and Madison Reiser also pitched. 

Antelope Valley (6-7) has a conference game against LA Mission on Thursday, 2/23, at noon and a doubleheader against Santa Barbara on Saturday, 2/24, also at noon.
