BASEBALL GETS ON TRACK WITH SECOND WIN
The Marauders coasted to a 17-0 win at Chaffey on Saturday and shut out Barstow 6-0 on Tuesday.

After dropping their first four games, AVC Men's Baseball has found a groove with back-to-back wins. They coasted to a 17-0 win at Chaffey on Saturday and shut out Barstow 6-0 on Tuesday.
Mason Johnson scored first on an error in the 2nd inning, then a second time on a single by Zach Terry in the 4th, and a third time with a single from Joe Uribe in the 6th. Terry recorded another RBI in the 6th inning. He finished with two hits and three RBI on the day.
In the 7th inning, Jack Rogers got an RBI when he reached base on a fielder's choice, and DH Trey Thomas scored Jason Zhang with an RBI hit later in the inning. Mason Johnson finished 2-for-3, while Joe Uribe and Zach Terry both finished 2-for-4. Keeton Bell also had two hits.
Josh Barendregt struck out eight batters in six innings of work, and Darren Roberts had two k's in three innings on the mound.
AVC (2-4) has a five-game road trip before returning home on February 21st to face Mt. San Jacinto.
