GONZALEZ, THEOLOGIDY FINISH IN TOP 50 IN STATE

FRESNO - The Marauder women's cross country team was represented at the State Championships in Fresno at Woodward Park with Carolina Gonzalez and Mariah Theologidy.

Neither disappointed.

Gonzalez had one of her most impressive meets of the season and finished 24th overall, while Theologidy finished 45th.

"I am very proud of what they have accomplished as athletes and in the classroom," head coach Josh Villalobos said. "We are happy with a successful season and now is the time to rest and begin preparation for the 2018 Track and Field season."

Gonzalez finished with a time of 19:19 and Theologidy was a few seconds slower crossing the line in 19:46 in the 5K race.
