BECK, WIGGS STRONG IN OPENER

Krista Beck blazed over the Oxnard course in 19:47.87 to win the overall title of the Oxnard Invitational by over 45 seconds.

Unfortunately, since there was only one other Marauder runner, there was no team score.

On the Men's side, Bradley Wiggs took third overall with Alex Franco sixth, but conference rival Bakersfield commanded the fourth and fifth spots, leaving AVC with a second place tam finish.
