Alumni Jasmine Dixon enters her 4th season as an assistant coach for the Marauders.

Prior to joining the staff, Jasmine grew up in Palmdale, CA, and became a student-athlete for AVC in 2013. She received an Associate’s Degree in Communication Studies. She then continued her education at New Mexico Highlands University on a full-ride athletic and academic scholarship. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/ Marketing and a 3.7 GPA.

As an athlete, Jasmine has accumulated many achievements for AVC’s Indoor and Beach Volleyball program. Voted 2014 Indoor Offensive Player of the Year and 2015 1st Team All-Conference, Jasmine also holds a school record for highest-ranked Beach Volleyball team, ranked #5 in California in 2017. Other Beach Achievements include Conference MVP, 1st Team All-Conference, 2x Sweet 16 Finalist, and 2 State Championship appearances.

In 2017, Jasmine was also invited to join the USA International Volleyball Association, but humbly declined to pursue her love for coaching.

Jasmine officially began her coaching career at Highland High school in ’17 and continued on to Head Coach for Aero Volleyball Club, and New Roads most recently. The Marauders have placed Top 3 in the Western State Conference every year since Jasmine’s arrival

Jasmine contributes to the AVC Volleyball program by being an example of how to achieve a higher education using volleyball. Her responsibilities include player development and creating custom highlight films to help with overall exposure in the recruiting process.
