Women's Volleyball fell 3-0 to the Citrus Owls on Friday.
AVC battled hard but lost a close first set 23-25. They seemed to lose momentum by dropping the second set 19-25 and couldn't find any type of rhythm in the third set, losing 11-25.
Maria Larranaga led the Marauder with 5 kills. Alysa Hughbanks and Julia Mueller had 4 kills each, while Kassie Tejeda and Maggie Rafferty both recorded 3 kills.
Vanessa Fletes had 18 assists for AVC, while Rhiannon Romero had 3.
Audrey Shull and Lizette Hidalgo led AVC in digs with 4 each. Tiffany Romano and Julia Mueller both had 3.
The Marauders are now 1-1 in conference play and 3-3 overall. Their next contest is on the road on Thursday, 10/7, against Mills College.
