The Marauders topped Santa Monica Corsairs in straight sets on Tuesday, 25-18, 25-10, 25-12.
The 1-16 Corsairs appeared to be outmatched from the beginning. Their best set was early on when they managed 18 points, but the Marauders were too much as Taylor Mobley led the way with five first-set kills. Mobley finished with 13 kills and 12 digs on the day.
The Marauders kept the offense rolling, winning the second set 25-10 and the third set 25-12. Estrella Bradford led Antelope Valley in assists with 17, and also chipped in five kills and five digs.
Brianna Bowen led in digs with 18 while Valerie Vergara had 12. Bailey Whiteford had 11 assists and four digs while Maggie Raferty and Michelle Rodriguez had three kills each.
The Marauders, now 9-7 overall, will play College of the Canyons on Friday at 6:00 pm at AVC.
