WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL TOPS SMC IN FOUR GAMES

The Antelope Valley College women's volleyball team hosted Santa Monica College on Wedensday evening, earning a 3-1 victory.
"It was a well-fought battle by our Lady Marauders tonight," said Head Coach Mark Cruz/ "We served really tough and we came through when we needed to. We have played a good share of 5-gamers this season, and I am hoping that those will get us stronger for the tough conference ahead of us."

- Taylor Williams - 2 aces, 15 assists
- Bailey Whiteford - 21 assists, 15 digs
- Estrella Bradford - 6 kills
- Melissa Lee - 5 kills, 5 digs
- Elizabeth Perez - 13 digs
- Andrea Alonso - 2 aces
- Breeanna Wright - 4 kills, 4 blocks
- Brittnee Wright - 6 kills, 7 blocks
AVC will conclude the preseason at Ventura College on Friday, Sept. 28, at 6pm.
