WOMEN'S RELAY TEAMS PLACE 3RD IN THREE EVENTS AS MARAUDERS HOST WESTERN STATE CONFERENCE RELAYS

AVC Women's Track & Field relay teams placed 3rd in the 4 x 100, 4 x 200, and 4 x 400 events at the Western State Conference Relays on Friday.

The team of Kayla Thompson, Sara Morales, Celeste Meza, and Prishencis Nnoman ran a 3rd best time of 50.36 in the 4 x 100-meter event and 1:49.08 in the 4 x 200 event.

The team of Kayla Thompson, Briann Brazill, Celeste Meza, and Prishencis Nnoman placed 3rd in the 4 x 400 event with a time of 4:30.65.

Brooklyn Noriega placed 6th in the Women's 200-meter Finals, while Kasey Gibbs placed 6th in the Women's Shot Put Finals.

On the men's side, Jordan Kennon placed 5th in the Triple Jump and 6th in the Long Jump event. Joe Lopez placed 7th in the 200-meter, while the relay team of Mikaili Bankhead, Dedrick Moore, Tyree Conner, and Emmanuel Bugers came in 8th place in the Men's 4 x 200-meter event.
