AVC Women's Tennis lost their final match of the season to Mt. San Jacinto last week by a 5-4 margin. The Marauders fell in three of the singles matches and two of the doubles matches.
Kristi Henderson won her singles match in the number one spot 6-2, 6-0. Head coach Justin Webb said, "I was very happy Kristi got the win in singles. She had to retire on Saturday, and I know that was incredibly difficult for her. She took control early and didn't let up."
The Marauders were able to get two wins this season, one against Sequoias and one against Mt. San Jacinto. "I was really pleased with the ladies for making it through a challenging year," remarked Webb... "I want to thank our administration, from the board to our president, to our Dean and Athletic Director, for providing us the opportunity." AVC looks forward to a strong season next year.
