MARAUDERS LOSE CLOSE MATCH TO CANYONS 5-4
Similar to the previous meeting, every match was needed to determine the winner as the Marauders lost 5-4 to Canyons.

Similar to the previous meeting, every match was needed to determine the winner as the Marauders Women's Tennis lost 5-4 to Canyons. AVC held the lead 4-3 after singles play. Becca Jaimes won 6-3 6-0, Natalie Pinzon won 6-2 6-2, and Marbella Rubio won by default. Viktoriia Belonogova lost 6-0 6-2, Erica Garcia lost 6-0 6-4, and Mary Flint Herrera lost.
In doubles play Belonogova, and Flint-Herrera lost 8-1 while Garcia and Jaimes were tied at 3-3 then had there serve broken to go down 4-3. They eventually lost 8-5. Natalie Pinzon and Marbella Rubio won their doubles match by default. "While we are always pleased with individual success, it is always tough to lose the close ones as a team," stated head coach Justin Webb. Webb also noted, " We continue to see improvement which is a positive. We can take from today's match and continue to work hard and improve each day, with the belief that it will translate into more team victories."
