Bio

Coach Robert Gonzalez enters his third season as Assistant Coach for the Marauders Women’s Soccer Program. His commitment and dedication to develop his players are evident in winning numerous championships ranging in all levels of youth through college. His high level of professionalism and communication benefits all areas of the women’s soccer program.

Gonzalez has been coaching since 2010 with home town club California Elite Soccer Club in the Antelope Valley. In that time he has won numerous league championships. Gonzalez has also been coaching in the high school arena for the past nine years. He has acquired multiple Golden League championships, one with Pete Knight High School in 2010, and many Golden league titles with Quartz Hill High School. In 2016 he led the Quartz Hill boy’s soccer program to a Golden League title, the school’s first boys Championship since 2009. He has been selected four times as a High desert All-Star game coach.

Gonzalez played his collegiate soccer at two schools from 2006 through 2010. He played two years at Cloud County Community College in Concordia, Kansas where prior to his sophomore season he was selected as team captain for the Thunderbirds. He played his next two seasons at Lasell College in Boston, Massachusetts where once again prior to his senior season he was elected as team captain for Lasell. Gonzalez graduated with his AA degree from Cloud County in 2008 and graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Lasell College in 2010.

Gonzalez lives in the Antelope Valley.
