AVC Women's Soccer lost a conference match 4-0 to the first-place Santa Monica Corsairs on Tuesday. The Marauders totaled 7 shots on goal (Brianna Montes De Oca-3, Mi'Angel Green-2, Naome Medrano-1, Abigail Halter-1) to Santa Monica's 15. Despite having 10 saves on the day, AVC gave up two goals in the first half and two in the second.
The loss brings Antelope Valley's overall record to 4-6-3 and their conference record to 1-3-3. They'll battle West LA on the road before returning home to face Glendale College on Oct. 29.
