Marauder Women's Soccer recorded a 1-1 tie against College of the Canyons in a home conference match on Tuesday. It was the second draw of the season against COC, as their first meeting back on October 13th ended in a 0-0 tie.
The Cougars scored first at the 12:45 point. The Marauders tied it at the 38:14 mark with a goal from Kaylin Gonzalez. Gonzalez has 14 goals on the season, just one behind team leader Megan Salvesvold. Goalie Katie Crees recorded 10 saves on the night.
AVC is now 13-3-4 overall and 8-1-4 in conference (3rd place). They will host Citrus in a crucial conference battle on Thursday at 4:00 pm for their final regular season game.
