Women's Soccer scored a 2-0 win over the Pierce Brahmas at home on Friday.
Megan Salvesvold got the Marauders on the board first with a goal assisted by Kimberly Duarte at the 31:30 mark in the first period. Salvesvold leads AVC with two goals through three games.
Alexis Moya then scored her first goal of the season late in the second period with an assist from Taitlyn Kingsbury. AVC managed 5 shots on goal, while the Brahmas had 3. Goalie Katie Crees recorded 3 saves.
The Marauders are 2-1 and will next battle Compton College at home on Tuesday, Sept. 5 at 1:30 pm.
