Marauder Soccer teams opened the 2023-24 season with a pair of wins against the Victor Valley Rams at home on Friday.
The women's team recorded a 4-0 shutout and were led with goals by Megan Salvesvold, Anaya Respeto, Taitlyn Kingsbury, and Mirka Escalante. They totaled 19 shots on goal. Goalie Katie Crees had one save.
On the men's side, Chisom Ene scored two goals, and Alex Araiza scored once en route to the 3-1 victory. Luis Avila and Noe Avina recorded an assist each.
Both teams will play Chaffey on the road before returning home on Friday, Sept. 1st, when the women will play Pierce at 4:00 pm and the men San Bernardino at 6:30 pm.
