Women's Soccer coasted to a 13-0 win over Glendale College in a conference match on Tuesday. They were led by Cassi James, who recorded a hat trick with 2 goals in the first half and 1 goal in the second. James has 6 goals on the season for the Marauders. Isabell Cerda and Kaylin Gonzalez scored two goals apiece. Also in the scoring column with goals were Megan Salvesvold, Paola Figueroa, Emily Serrano, Brianna Ortega, Samantha Contreras, and Vanessa Guiler. Serrano led the team in assists with 3 on the day. Salvesvold, Marcella Torres Aguilar, and Kelsey Brustuen recorded 2 assists each.
Antelope Valley had a season-high 65 shots, with 39 on goal during the contest. The fourth straight win keeps the Marauders undefeated in conference play at 3-0, and gives them an overall record of 6-3-1. They play on the road at West LA and Santa Monica before returning home to battle College of the Canyons on October 14th.
