AVC Women's Soccer won their fourth straight conference match on Tuesday with a 4-0 victory over the Citrus Owls.
The match was a defensive battle for much of the first period until Samantha Contreras scored an unassisted goal at the 38:13 mark. It was the first goal of the season for the freshmen midfielder from Quartz Hill High School.
The Marauders opened it up in the second half with goals by Bianca Carrillo, her team-high 13th goal of the season, and Brianna Ortega's fifth goal of the season.
Aleze Sevilla, also a freshmen midfielder from Quartz Hill High School, then scored her first goal of the year to make it 4-0. Alexsandra Castellanos and Cassi James each had an assist, while goalie Barbara Vivas had two saves.
AVC has another home conference match-up with West LA on Friday, Oct. 29, at 2:00 pm.
