Antelope Valley Women's Soccer closed out their season with a 1-0 win over Bakersfield on Friday.
AVC swept the Renegades 2-0 on the season as they won their earlier match-up 1-0 as well. Freshman Tayler Miranda scored the games only goal in the 15th minute off an assist from Shayla Diaz. The Marauders had a total of 12 shots on goal led by Vittoria Cataldo with five. AVC finished the season 10-8-3 overall and 7-5-2 in conference play.
Sophomore Evencia Welsh led the Marauders with 21 goals and nine assists on the season. Shayla Diaz finished with four goals and four assists, while Vittoria Cataldo had three goals and six assists. Jordan Schultz ended with three goals and two assists.
Belinda Lira, Presley Marshall, and Tayler Miranda each had two goals on the season. Miranda also finished with four assists.
AVC ended up fourth in the standings in the Western State-South conference behind Citrus, Santa Monica, and Canyons.
