Antelope Valley Women's Soccer breezed past Glendale 8-0 in Tuesday's conference matchup. It was the Marauder's second victory over the Vaqueros this season as they recorded a 1-0 win back in October.
Evencia Welsh scored off an assist from Jennifer Quijada in the opening minute, and AVC never looked back. Welsh scored four more goals with assists from Tayler Miranda, Shayla Diaz, and Jordan Schultz, to finish with five goals and one assist. Belinda Lira scored off of Welsh's assist to record her second goal of the season.
Tayler Miranda scored her first goal of the season while Vittoria Cataldo scored her third of the year in the blowout.
Evencia Welsh leads the Marauders in goals with 20 and assists with nine on the season.
The Marauders, now 6-4-1 in conference play, and 9-7-2 overall will battle the 11-4-3 Santa Monica Corsairs on Friday at Brent Carder Marauder Stadium at 4:00 pm.
