AVC Women's Soccer recorded a 1-1 tie against Pasadena City College in their first home game of the season. Much of the game remained a defensive battle until Pasadena scored the first goal in the 68th minute. Katy Coats punched it in after an assist from Erica Perez. The Marauders tied it up shortly after in the 74th minute when Evencia Welsh scored off an assist by Bianca Carrillo. AVC had 12 shots on goal while goalie Barbara Vivas saved 5 of Pasadena's six shots on goal. Welsh led all players with five shots on goal.

The Marauders are now 1-2-1 and will take on Moorpark this Friday at 6:00 pm at Marauder Stadium.
