WOMEN'S GOLF UPDATE

Marauder Women's Golf team showed positive signs at the Santa Barbara Golf Club match. The golf course was challenging as it had significant slope and mountain terrain throughout, with OB in play on 9 holes. Madison Schafer shot 80 and finished 3rd in a field of 40 players. She carded two birdies and shot 36 on the back 9. "Madison did an excellent job of staying focused and battling through adversity today," remarked head coach Patrick Londono. Adriana Rosales shot 92, which included a birdie and a chip-in, finishing 16th overall on the day. Vashti Rachel shot 99. Ayanna Langdale shot a 110. "I'm proud of how the team competed today and look forward to next week's WSC #2 match," Londono added.

The Marauders will travel to San Dimas as Citrus College hosts the second Western State Conference match.
