MARAUDER WOMEN'S GOLF CONTINUES TO IMPROVE

LLANO - Marauder women's golfer Emma Watson shot her best round of the season with a 94, Monday at the Crystal Aire Country Club hosted by Antelope Valley College.

"The course was in excellent condition with challenging greens," AVC head coach George Fetters said. "Each week we continue to improve and get better."

AVC was led by Michaela Klundt who finished with an 82. RyAnne Gaston and Amy Chaffino shot a 96 and 98 respectively.

Fetters said that if his team continues to drop strokes, it could be in the running for third place in the conference.

The Marauders moved up two slots ahead of Bakersfield College and Citrus College to finish fourth. Santa Barbara City College finished first.
