AVC Women's Basketball improved to 4-0 in conference with a 62-48 home win over West LA.
Despite losing the rebound advantage, the Marauders shot 37.3% on 14 fewer attempts and held the Wildcats to 27.4% shooting. AVC shot better from the 3-point line 23.8% - 15.8%, and the free-throw line 59.1% - 41.7%.
Athieng Bol led all scorers with 29 points to go along with 9 rebounds.
Niela Marshall recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Shaniya Sinclair had a game-high 12 rebounds, and Deja Taylor had a team-high 5 assists. Zaniyah Wyatt added 7 points, and Betzy Alvarado matched a season-high 6 points by making 2 of 4 from behind the 3-point line.
