Marauder Women's Basketball said goodbye to sophomores Kristen Lopez, Bailey Cassell, A'Lawra Miller, and Niah Williams before taking on Glendale in their last regular game season. Lopez (15 points) and Miller (13 points, 5 rebounds) led AVC, but it wasn't enough, as they fell 81-64. Cassell had 9 points and 4 assists, while Williams chipped in 4 points.
Courtney Hart had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Mircle Jackson had 10 points and 6 rebounds. Glendale outshot AVC 53% to 47% overall and 39% to 26% from behind the three-point line. They finished with just one more rebound (29-28) than the Marauders but outpaced them in the assist column 20 to 13.
Kristen Lopez finishes her career at AVC with 527 points, including 127 three-pointers. Bailey Cassell averaged 10.7 points per game and totaled 113 assists over three seasons. Niah Williams grabbed 53 rebounds and shot 31% in 44 contests at AVC, while A'Lawra Miller totaled 176 points, 82 rebounds, 65 assists, and 28 steals in 38 games over two years.
The Marauders finished 8-6 in conference play and 13-15 overall this season.
