BARSTOW - Ashley Shaw scored a career-high 12 points and tied a career-high with 14 rebounds as the Marauder women's basketball team had no problems with Barstow, Saturday night at Barstow College.
The Marauders outscored the Vikings in each quarter and was able to build a lead after each. AVC's defense held the state's top leading scorer, Essence Reece, to six points below her average. Reece finsihed with 18 points.
AVC's Brieanna Perkins flirted with a double-double finishing with 12 points, nine rebounds and six assists. Makaela Manson led the Marauder with 17 points.
