ARROYO AND ZINN COMMIT
AVC Softball's Natasha Arroyo and Kylie Zinn will move on to play at the next level.
AVC Softball and Marauder Athletics congratulate Natasha Arroyo, who will be moving on to play for the Coppin State University Eagles in Baltimore, MD. Arroyo made 85 appearances over two seasons at AVC. The Utility player from Liitlerock High School scored 59 times and totaled 69 hits, including 12 home runs and 46 RBI. She joins a Coppin State program that went 15-6 in conference last season and made it to the conference championship. The Eagles compete in the NCAA's Division I Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference under the direction of head coach Marcedes Hargett.
Kylie Zinn also joins the list of Marauders who will be moving on to play at the next level. Zinn has accepted an offer to play at Salem University in West Virginia. The sophomore from Lancaster High School led the Marauders this past season in home runs with 10 and RBI with 41. In her two-year career at AVC, she saw 243 at-bats in 86 games, totaling 76 hits and 63 RBI. The Salem University Tigers compete in the NCAA's Division II Conference Carolinas.
