Marauder Softball snapped a six-game losing streak with a 12-0 win over the LA Valley Monarchs. Annalise Wagner tossed a one-hitter with 9 strikeouts as AVC scored their 12 runs off 8 hits with 1 error. Eleven runs came in the first inning, with another added in the 4th inning.
Jolene Miramontes led the offense, going 2-for-2 with 4 RBI.
Kylie Zinn had 2 RBI off a hit, while Natalia Hernandez had 3 RBI in 3 at-bats. Haeven Chavira, Emily Centeno, and Annalise Wagner recorded an RBI and a hit each. Natasha Arroyo and Cadence Crampton each had a hit and 2 runs on the day.
After falling on the road at Bakersfield, the Marauders are 13-18-1 and 4-6 in conference. Next up is a double-header at Fullerton on Saturday, April 13.
