After dropping two games to the Renegades in Bakersfield, the Marauders returned the favor by winning the next two games against them at home, 14-6 and 11-6.

After dropping two games to the Renegades in Bakersfield, the Marauders returned the favor by winning the next two games against them at home, 14-6 and 11-6.
After falling behind early in game one, the Marauders chipped away at the lead to pull within one run, 3-4 at the end of the third inning. After an explosive 7-run inning in the fourth, AVC was ahead 10-6. They then added another four runs in the bottom of the 6th to close it out.
Hailey Johnson (3-for-5, 3 RBI) and Mycaela Chavez (3-for-4, 2 RBI) did a lot of the heavy lifting for the Marauders at the plate. Trinity Holman had a strong game by going 2-for-4 with 2 RBI. Amy Manzo supported the effort by going 2-for-3 with an RBI, while Ariel Nieto and Alexa Alvarez each had a hit and an RBI. Maritza Arroyo added two RBI off one hit, and Savannah Moakley also contributed with a hit and a score.
Bailey Damian (2 innings) and Arianna Arroyo (4 innings) teamed up for six strikeouts in the circle.
Antelope Valley kept the offense rolling in game two behind another three RBI from Hailey Johnson off two hits and three RBI from Maritza Arroyo off two hits. Nayely Delgado and Ariel Nieto both went 2-for-4 with two RBI, while Mycaela Chavez added an RBI and two hits.
Alexa Alvarez was solid at the plate, going 3-for-5, while Savannah Moakley, Trinity Holman, and Amy Manzo each had a hit.
Maritza Arroyo carried the load in the circle going seven innings with six strikeouts.
The Marauders, now 5-3 overall, move on to face Oxnard College (0-2) on Thursday at home.
