LANCASTER - Taylor Roberts pitched a complete game gem and Samantha Arriola provided the offensive spark the Marauder softball team needed as it defeated Barstow, 4-1, at Marauder Stadium.
With the Marauders trailing 1-0, Arriola doubled to score Sierra Fiala and Katie Weiser which proved to be the game winner putting AVC up 2-1.
Roberts picked up her state-leading 14th victory of the season as she pitched all seven innings, allowing only one run and three hits. She also had four strikeouts.
